Job Summary
Manage the full monthly billing cycle, including creating, reviewing, validating, and issuing customer invoices. Responsibilities include activating customer subscriptions within NetSuite, validating contract change orders, ensuring invoice accuracy, and resolving billing discrepancies. The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to handle high volume work. A background in billing or finance and advanced Excel skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar accounting or finance role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of billing processes and contract based invoicing
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to identify numerical and data discrepancies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high volume environment
Desired Qualifications
- Hands on experience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise level accounting or ERP system
- Experience working in a subscription based or contract driven billing environment
- Experience partnering with Revenue Accounting on revenue recognition support
- Comfort working cross functionally in a fast-paced organization
