Job Summary
Revenue Accountant to assist in revenue recognition, forecasting, reporting and reconciliations for a portfolio of projects in a hybrid, office-based role in Chennai, India. Responsibilities include updating contractual arrangements with clients, preparing monthly revenue reports with variance explanations, reconciling contracts and revenues, liaising with the billing team on unbilled revenue, collaborating with the finance team, producing monthly forecasts/backlog/utilisation commentary, and ensuring revenue recognition complies with SOX controls and approvals.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA
- Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Experience in financial analysis
- Oracle Financials experience
- MS Excel proficiency
- Big 4 training (preferred)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
