Job Summary
Revenue Accountant responsible for government-contract invoicing, maintaining financial schedules, posting to agency websites (WAWF, GSA, IPP), reconciling GL accounts, performing monthly accruals and journal entries, and supporting audits and budgets. Collaborates with Controller, provides monthly revenue/cost analysis, maintains AR aging and billing logs, and ensures compliance with agency policies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, five years of accounting experience (government contracting preferred), proficiency with accounting software and Excel, experience with WAWF/GSA/IPP, and a bondable status. Onsite in Baltimore, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Five years of accounting experience, government contracting experience preferred
- Experience with accounting software, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and A/R modules
- Experience with WAWF, GSA, and IPP a plus
- Bondable as defined by the insurance policy
- Acceptable driving record as determined by Agency policy
