Job Summary
Inspect and process all returned furniture to ensure proper coding, dispose of items correctly, and clear systems for the billing department. Solve return process issues by communicating root causes to HomeStores and HS Distribution Centers, presenting findings to senior managers, and gathering customer data to improve experience. Track return data to identify concerns and report errors to supervisors for continuous improvement. Load and unload products using forklifts and powered vehicles, transporting loads up to 100 pounds occasionally up to 250 pounds. Operate equipment safely while maintaining high standards in this fast-paced distribution center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to reliably work a defined full time schedule
- Ability to learn our basic computer and warehouse / distribution center scanning systems
- You have basic counting, math and measurement skills
- You can read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications
- You are able to obtain a valid, company-issued Forklift or Powered Industrial Vehicles license where required
