Job Summary
Examine incoming tire casings for damage and determine retread eligibility. Responsibilities include buffing worn tread, performing tire repairs, applying tread, operating curing chambers, conducting final inspections, and maintaining a clean work area. Follow safety procedures and participate in training activities. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to lift heavy tires, and have a commitment to safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift, move, and handle tires weighing 50–150 lbs.
- Experience in tire retreading or manufacturing is a plus but not required
- Must be able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
