Job Summary
Examine incoming tire casings for damage and determine retread eligibility. Remove worn tread and prepare casing surfaces for new tread application. Perform section and spot repairs, apply new tread using specialized equipment, and operate curing chambers to bond tread to casings. Conduct quality checks to meet company standards and DOT specifications. Maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures. Ability to lift and handle tires required. Overtime and flexible hours may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift, move, and handle tires weighing 50–150 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Overtime may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in tire retreading or manufacturing
