Job Summary
Retirement Village Manager role overseeing day-to-day operations of Chelsea Retirement Village to ensure a safe, high-quality, resident-focused environment. Leads operational leadership to deliver excellent resident experiences, enhances resident satisfaction through social activities, ensures compliance with Retirement Villages Act, Code of Conduct and Accreditation standards, manages village budget and financial reporting, and works collaboratively with the Residents’ Committee on operation and maintenance. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a focus on resident engagement, governance, budgeting, and delivering a customer-centric, values-driven service. Required Qualifications
- Genuine passion for engaging the retirement living community
- Proven management experience in a similar role within retirement living, business, hospitality, finance, property management, or health sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work with legislation.
- A sound understanding of the Retirement Village Act would be highly regarded
- Proven customer-centric philosophy combined with an ability to “get things done”
- Strong written and verbal communication including demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Budgeting and reporting experience to support financial and operational goals
