Retirement Services Regional Client Manager

Job Summary
Support retirement program information and services for jurisdictions and employees in an assigned Georgia region by representing the Association, establishing contacts with elected officials, and responding to inquiries regarding retirement plans, investments, and distribution requests. Coordinate site visits, conduct new employee orientations, and educate groups on defined contribution and defined benefit programs to assist with enrollment and investment decisions. Deliver retirement workshops, distribute statements, and provide on-going assistance to participants and beneficiaries while preparing presentation materials and tracking jurisdiction activities. Operate from a remote field office with travel to jurisdictions three to four times weekly, including occasional overnight trips. Maintain Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses and pursue Certified Retirement Counselor certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Primary residence within the state of Georgia
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- 3 to 5 years experience in financial services
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses
- Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC) certification within 6 months of hire
- Possession of appropriate State Life and Health Insurance and variable annuity licenses
- Valid driver's license in the State of Georgia
