Job Summary
Retirement Protection Specialist responsible for prospecting and selling annuity solutions within a Medicare-focused environment, educating clients on retirement income strategies, and guiding customers toward annuity products that complement their Medicare coverage and retirement planning. Responsibilities include business development and prospecting through outbound outreach, community events, referrals, and Medicare-related leads; conducting needs assessments for Medicare-eligible individuals; delivering presentations to explain how annuity products enhance long-term financial protection; achieving new business sales targets; managing and growing an assigned client portfolio with regular reviews and follow-ups; identifying cross-sell opportunities; staying current on fixed, indexed, and hybrid annuity products, retirement income planning, and Medicare considerations; ensuring compliance and completing licensing/training. The ideal candidate will possess strong presentation, interpersonal, and consultative-selling skills, be able to simplify complex financial concepts for clients aged 65+ and their families, and operate with integrity in a regulated sales environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain)
- Experience selling annuities, retirement products, or related financial services
- Medicare sales experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience
