Job Summary
Lead onboarding of new 401(k) plans by guiding employers through initial setup, coordinating participant notices, and completing setup documentation. Serve as primary contact during implementation to ensure timely and accurate contribution processing, eligibility tracking, and rate changes. Provide responsive support regarding plan operations and facilitate employer training sessions on responsibilities and deadlines. Prepare and review compliance documentation, including nondiscrimination testing and Form 5500 assistance, while maintaining CRM data and internal procedures. Escalate operational issues to senior team members for resolution. Collaborate with specialists to deliver seamless client experiences and maintain regulatory adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Credential such as ASPPA or NIPA preferred; or willingness to earn one within 12 months
- Strong customer service skills, with a professional and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Team player mentality, with a collaborative and adaptable approach to supporting broader service goals
- Frequently required to sit
- Occasionally required to stand and walk
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Frequently required to talk and hear
- Moderate concentration/intensity, which includes prolonged mental effort
