Job Summary
Coordinate plan-level and participant-level service offerings alongside advisers, acting as the liaison between clients and recordkeepers, TPAs, or benefit counsel. Handle inbound inquiries, enrollments, and transfers while assisting in the establishment and maintenance of client files and CRM records. Attend sales presentations for new prospects and ongoing committee meetings, and eventually present at enrollment meetings. Stay current on the qualified plan market, including products, compliance, and technology. This role supports the defined contribution practice with training and mentorship from licensed professionals, offering a path to growth into a lead advisory position without initial sales responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
- At least one (1) year of relevant investment and financial advisory experience, preferably involving 401(k) and/or 403(b) plans
- Registered as an Investment Advisor Representative in the state of Michigan or able to become registered within the first six months
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly and effectively
- Strong attention to details, analytical skills, and problem-solving
- Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously, accommodating unexpected requests or needs, and following through
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new technologies, AI tools, software platforms, and digital workflows quickly
- Entrepreneurial mindset, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn and grow
