Job Summary
Retirement Plan Advisor conducts Retirement Readiness Reviews and delivers individual and group presentations to defined contribution 401(k)/(a), 403(b), and Government 457 plan participants in the Jackson, MS area. Responsibilities include building strategic partnerships with stakeholders, managing meeting schedules (travel may be required), conducting virtual and on-site meetings, documenting interactions in Salesforce to ensure regulatory compliance, and pursuing plan-level and individual goals to meet service level agreements. Requires strong presentation and relationship-building skills, proficiency with MS Office and Teams, familiarity with Salesforce, and FINRA registrations. The role supports remote or hybrid work arrangements and may involve collaboration with the Relationship Management team across the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 – 5 years relevant financial services experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within established timeline; current registrations strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred
- Working knowledge of retirement planning basics preferred
- Professional communication and stakeholder-management skills
