Job Summary
Retirement Disability Specialist role for two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. They reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Includes on-campus housing, meals on duty, utilities, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; two-year married status for both spouses and age 27+, with limited dependents. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead students in devotions and attend Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
