Job Summary
Welcome patients, obtain histories via intake assessments, and perform visual acuity, tonometry, OCTs, and diagnostic tests under physician direction. Educate patients on conditions and consent, monitor E-faxes and Erx's, and maintain exam rooms with necessary sterilization. Scribe for providers to minimize delays, assist the Clinic Manager with hiring, supervision, and quarterly chart audits, and train staff on EHR, coding, and policies. Requires high school diploma, one year of ophthalmic assistant experience, and prior supervisory experience preferred. Flexible Monday-Friday schedule with travel to Chino Valley and Prescott Valley locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1-year of Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician experience
- Flexible schedule working Monday-Friday
- Ability to travel to Chino Valley and Prescott Valley locations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- COA, COT
- Prior supervisory experience
- Detail oriented; reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
