Job Summary
Retention Specialist (Clinical) will support overall participant recruitment and retention in clinical trials by working with study teams, sites, CROs, and vendors to design and execute recruitment plans, develop study materials, engage advocacy groups, and drive participation aligned with the protocol visit schedule. The role requires building relationships with sites and cross-functional teams, performing market research to understand patient needs and barriers, and traveling up to ~60% to clinical research sites and investigator meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Life Science
- 5+ years of relevant experience (including Site, SMO, CRO, and/or Sponsor experience)
- Experience with participant/patient interactions in a clinical or research setting
- Deep understanding of the clinical trial process and recruitment/retention strategies
- Strong analytical skills with trial metrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and projects
- Willingness to travel up to 60% per month
