Join the Square Account Management team as a Retention Account Manager for SMBs in the UK. You will retain a multi-million pound client base, understand SMB needs across verticals, deploy retention strategies to reduce churn and increase contract adoption, address customer concerns and competitive threats, and collaborate with Sales, Support, Product and Analytics to future-proof retention. You have 3+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or related roles with proven ability to retain and grow SMB/mid-market accounts, strong negotiation and commercial acumen, exceptional communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The role emphasizes value-led conversations, proactive account planning, and influencing internal teams to improve retention outcomes, with a commitment to an inclusive workplace and flexible, remote work options in the UK.
