Job Summary
Greet customers in-store and by phone, providing product information on availability, pricing, and use while driving repeat business. Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system, cut materials like carpet and vinyl to customer specifications, and assist with loading purchased items into vehicles. Move merchandise from the receiving area to the sales floor, tag products with pricing labels, and maintain a clean, organized environment by straightening displays and covering materials. Perform regular inventory counts, update records, and operate forklifts safely in compliance with company procedures. This role supports overall store operations at Home Outlet in Fort Smith, Arkansas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying conditions, including warehouse or outdoor loading areas, and possess the physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
