Job Summary
As a Retail Warehouse Associate in Salt Lake City, you will safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings; operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies; inspect and maintain merchandise to Ashley quality standards; load/unload and stage merchandise; assist with product preparation, minor repairs, repackaging, and inventory activities; deliver exemplary customer service in the warehouse and in customers' homes; maintain a clean, safe work environment and accurate records; participate in training and skill development; and contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration while upholding Ashley core values. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture and merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds (with assistance for heavier items)
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, furniture handling, inventory, or material handling preferred but not required (training provided)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety procedures and company policies
- Ability to complete required documentation accurately and on time
