Job Summary
Retail Warehouse Associate at Ashley Furniture in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include safely receiving, moving, storing, assembling and preparing furniture; operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies; inspecting and maintaining merchandise to Ashley quality standards; loading/unloading and staging merchandise; assisting with product preparation and minor repairs; supporting inventory through cycle counts and physical inventories; delivering exemplary customer service in-warehouse and at customer homes; maintaining a clean, safe work environment and completing required documentation on time. Role emphasizes teamwork, safety, continuous improvement, and growth opportunities within a full-time position with competitive benefits. Must be physically able to lift up to 100 pounds and be willing to participate in training programs for skill development.
Required Qualifications
- Physical capability: able to lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture and merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, furniture handling, inventory, assembly, material handling, or powered industrial equipment operation is preferred but not required (training provided)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Commitment to safety procedures and accurate documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Customer-focused service in warehouse and at customer homes
