Job Summary
Assist with receiving and staging merchandise, maintain showroom and warehouse safety and visual standards, support day-to-day store operations, and physically handle furniture assembly and movement. This in-store, physical role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and strong communication to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment. Key skills include warehouse safety, inventory handling, problem-solving, organization, and adherence to safety protocols; prior experience in retail stockrooms or back-end operations and a customer-service mindset are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s
- Ability to work a retail schedule
- Comfortable lifting, moving, and assembling merchandise
- Strong teamwork, listening, and communication skills
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy furniture (up to 75 lbs.)
- Frequent walking throughout the warehouse and showroom
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use tools for assembly
