Job Summary
Retail Training Manager leads Sephora Canada's store-facing training across in-store, classroom, and virtual environments, delivering impactful experiences aligned with store, market, and business priorities. Responsibilities include coaching store leadership teams, driving client engagement, service excellence, and operational consistency; supporting New Store Openings training; acting as subject matter expert on training materials; refining content for accuracy and relevance; conducting gap analysis and shaping future learning interventions based on feedback and data; delivering training in both in-person and virtual formats; and coordinating across Canada with a travel requirement of ~40–50% to support national training initiatives. Candidate must be bilingual in French and English, able to facilitate training in both languages, and comfortable working in a remote/hybrid setup with occasional evenings/weekends as retail needs require. Familiarity with makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance is preferred, along with a commitment to continuous development and adult education credentials or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
- Experience delivering engaging training in both in-person and virtual settings
- Willingness to travel across Canada (approx. 40–50%)
- Adult education certification or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel and support training across Canada
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Experience with cosmetics/beauty education or retail training
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to work in a remote/hybrid environment as needed
- Capability to develop and deliver training programs for store leadership and teams
