Job Summary
Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets by utilizing retail selling methodologies and executing customer plans across assigned accounts. Manage and inspire a team of full-time and part-time Merchandisers from hiring and coaching to performance development. Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in-store while providing expert, on-site sales consultation to customers. Tailor data-driven sales strategies to store demographics and customer needs to fuel territory expansion, and cultivate strong partnerships with store personnel to identify opportunities and deliver top-tier service. Strategically deploy merchandizers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales volume. Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management in collaboration with Full-Time Order Writers. Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships and drive results, operating within Mondelēz International's safety and operational guidelines. This role requires a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays, with a base salary range of $56,200 to $77,275.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
- High School Diploma or GED
- A flexible work schedule, including being able to work weekends and holidays
- 3-5 years of selling experience
- Strong sales background
- Excellent understanding of business processes and systems
- Ability to perform physical activities including frequent lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs, occasionally over 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, etc.
- Successful completion of drug test
- Successful completion of MVR check
- Successful completion of general background check
- Must be located within 40 miles of specified cities (Lees Summit, MO Blue Springs, MO Oak Grove, MO Raytown, MO Higginsville, MO Marshall, MO Grain Valley, MO Kansas City, MO Lake Lotawana)
