Job Summary
Retail Technician for Meat/Seafood within Kroger stores managed by Empire Marketing Strategies. Responsibilities include selling and ensuring best-in-class in-store merchandising, building displays, packing out product, replenishing permanent displays, rotating perishable merchandise, maintaining planograms and shelf standards, conducting product analysis and reporting, promotional display maintenance, customer support and training, and performing other administrative duties. Must maintain 100% distribution of manufacturer-client items, utilize reporting tools (PowerBI, Go Spot Check), set up POS materials, coordinate with operations for promotional programs, and travel between assigned stores in the territory. Requires ability to communicate effectively, operate independently with strong drive for results, and proficient use of MS Excel. Education a high school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites; physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 60 pounds, and outdoor/retail environment exposure.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report required
- 1-2 years of CPG/grocery/retail industry related experience preferred
