Job Summary
Deliver technical training programs for automotive technicians across Goodyear Retail using in-person, virtual, and hands-on methods; coach technicians in-store, conduct skill gap analyses, and improve diagnostics, productivity, and repair quality; develop and facilitate training programs including ASE and internal certification preparation; track training records, certifications, and effectiveness using LMS while ensuring compliance with standards; partner with internal teams to design curriculum and training materials; support new product/tool/technology launches through structured training and field enablement; reside within the assigned territory and travel 75–80%
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in automotive technology or related field required; equivalent experience (minimum 8 years) considered in lieu of a degree
- Master ASE Automotive Technician certification (including L1) and additional ASE certifications preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on diagnostic and repair experience, with exposure to automotive retail, dealership, OEM, fleet, or supplier environments
- Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills; ability to simplify complex concepts
- Willingness to travel 75–80% including overnight; valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate independently in a field-based environment
