Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service, operate POS and credit card terminals, and process transactions accurately; greet customers and assist on the sales floor with locating merchandise. Maintain the appearance of the sales floor, restock depleted merchandise, and perform cleaning tasks. Requires basic math, clear communication, ability to read and write, and open availability (7 days a week, 8 AM–7 PM). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and comply with I-9, background check, drug screen, and physical examination requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team
- One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred
- Proficient in basic math, able to read and write
- Operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card terminal, pricing system)
- Meet quotas; make pricing decisions based on quality
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates
- Must have open availability of schedule (open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM)
- Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, background check, drug screen and physical examination
