Job Summary
Process donated and purchased items for distribution to the sales floor while ensuring POS Solutions Inventory System processes are followed. Sort, hang, and categorize merchandise including textiles, shoes, and electrical items for grading and pricing using the computerized system. Maintain work batches and production data, apply Kaizen practices for continuous improvement, and use material handling equipment to transport and sort donations. Transport goods, perform cleaning functions throughout the store, and meet established production quotas. Requires proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing, plus ability to operate computerized grading and pricing systems. Make pricing decisions based on product quality and communicate clearly with customers and associates.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team
- Must be proficient in basic math
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to operate computerized equipment (POS Solutions Inventory System, grading and pricing system)
- Must be able to make pricing decisions based on quality of product
- Must be able to meet quotas
- Must be able to communicate clearly with customers and associates
- Must have physical stamina to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to reach 6 ft. with use of ladder, if needed
- Must be able to pull, push, lift 50 pounds
- Must be sufficiently mobile to work in any area of the facility
- Must have documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a physical examination
Desired Qualifications
