Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging guests, assisting with shopping needs, and selling merchandise via the register. Operate retail stores within Chocolatetown and Hersheypark by stocking hard goods, hanging or folding apparel, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the sales floor. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and three closing shifts from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Handle indoor and outdoor weather conditions while standing for up to five hours at a time. Enjoy free admission, parking, and discounts on food and shopping as a part-time Team Member.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older on the date of applying
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with Child Labor Laws
- Must be able to work a minimum of 3 weekend shifts per month and 20 hours per week, with 3 closing shifts, Memorial Day through Labor Day
- Ability to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time)
- Ability to walk
- Ability to bend at the waist and knees
- Repeated manual dexterity
- Ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level
- Ability to lift up to sixty (60) pounds without assistance
- Friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with our guests
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
