Retail Team Leader - Full Time

Job Summary
Assist store management with daily operations, including merchandise acquisition, display, rotation, and pricing to ensure adequate inventory. Oversee personnel, clients, and volunteers while directing training and enforcing store procedures and GIWM policies. Perform administrative duties, provide sales reports, and maintain grounds and building standards. Enhance security and loss prevention while ensuring OSHA/MIOSHA and safety compliance. Execute Lead Cashier, Retail Associate, and training functions as required. Handle customer complaints and meet production goals. Available for on-call emergency situations, weekends, holidays, and off-site travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in retail operations
- Must be able to provide positive internal and external customer relations
- Demonstrate ability to think independently in supervisor's absence
- Maintain a good driving record
- Valid insurance
- Valid driver license
- Maintain a valid powered industrial truck license, when required
- Weekends and holidays required
- Available and on call for emergency situations at stores
- Use of personal vehicle to conduct agency business, as needed
- Some travel required for off-site meetings and coverage at other stores
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrate accuracy with accounting and book keeping
- Handle customer complaints in a courteous and responsible manner
- Demonstrate quality control and accuracy with sorting and pricing guidelines
- Kaizen principles: follow 6S Checklist, procedures, signage and layout
- Meet production goals
