Job Summary
Open and close the store, manage inventory control, and execute operational procedures to maintain an operationally sound environment. Lead by example on the sales floor while coaching associates to achieve key performance indicators through training and development. Assist the store manager with scheduling and floor moves, and deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model. Participate in recruiting and interviewing top talent while adhering to safety and reporting regulations. Work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays to meet the demands of a thriving retail business in Merrimack, NH. This role supports the Retail Leadership Team's mission to empower people through sport and craftsmanship.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 4 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' retail supervisory experience preferred
