Job Summary
Direct and supervise departmental team members, providing regular observation, coaching, and recognition to ensure quick, accurate, and friendly service. Manage inventory tracking systems, analyze product levels to anticipate issues, and oversee cash register operations to control cash and tender. Perform all duties required of retail team members, including morning accounting, banking, and creating visually appealing merchandise displays. Schedule team members according to store labor needs and assist with recruiting, training, and onboarding. Maintain a safe work environment by upholding OSHA guidelines and loss prevention procedures. Work a rotating schedule including mid-shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience as a supervisor, team lead, or key holder in the retail industry
- Proficiency in basic mathematical skills and computer literacy
- Fundamental reading comprehension abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of observing, assessing, and coaching the work of others
- Ability to understand and follow instructions provided in written and/or verbal form
- Strong reasoning, decision-making, and independent judgment skills
- Successful completion of background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work a rotating schedule (mid-shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to push and pull up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to climb up to 14-foot height
