Job Summary
Role is to supervise and ensure profitable operation of the assigned area within the Retail Department at Six Flags. Responsibilities include upholding merchandising standards, actively engaging guests with a friendly demeanor, coaching and developing team members, effectively communicating business needs to the direct supervisor, and using POS systems to complete sales transactions. The role requires promoting product sales with impeccable guest service, training and motivating staff, resolving guest concerns, enforcing policies, maintaining image and cleanliness, and supporting multiple locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Retail, Customer Service or Hospitality experience of at least 1+ years is required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be available to work minimum of 32 hours a week
- Available to work flexible hours on nights, weekends and Holidays based off of business needs
- Requires lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day
- Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs over 25 feet over various surfaces
- Must be able to lift and lower 5 lbs above shoulder level
- Must be able to climb a stepladder or ladder up to 6 ft. in height
- Must be able to work outdoors or in extreme heat, cold, sun, humidity, including temperatures below freezing
