Job Summary
Lead the management team by assigning shifts, reviewing results, and providing feedback to maintain a five-star customer experience. Coach and train staff on selling skills, behaviors, and processes while monitoring payroll to ensure hours align with the monthly budget. Drive the store to achieve Total Monthly Income (TMI) goals by communicating daily sales targets and enforcing action plans through weekly performance discussions. Monitor inventory management, special orders, receiving processes, and layaway to ensure first-quality standards for all merchandise. Fill open positions within 30 days to maintain staffing levels and build a strong talent pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or degree
- Two-four years prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with a computerized POS system
- Must occasionally lift to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to reach for tools and objects with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk to and hear customers
- Must be able to see up close and at a distance
- Must be able to use peripheral vision and depth perception
- Must be able to look at, read, and use a computer and all other electronic devices for long periods of time
