Job Summary
Lead a high-performing retail team by assigning shifts, monitoring payroll against budget, and enforcing action plans for performance improvements. Drive daily sales goals through Chat Ins/Outs, provide ongoing coaching on selling behaviors, and manage inventory, special orders, and layaway processes. Maintain a five-star customer experience by modeling a customer-first culture, reviewing results, and utilizing mystery shops to guide team development. Fill open positions within 30 days to ensure consistent staffing while maximizing productivity across front of house and alterations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or degree
- Two-four years prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with a computerized POS system
- Must occasionally lift to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to reach for tools and objects with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk to and hear customers
- Must be able to see up close and at a distance
- Must be able to use peripheral vision and depth perception
- Must be able to look at, read, and use a computer and all other electronic devices for long periods of time
