Job Summary
Lead retail operations at both Crystal Bridges and The Momentary by managing a team of 2-3 seasonal associates, overseeing store opening and closing procedures, and ensuring proper cash handling and security practices. Drive guest experience through active salesfloor leadership, event promotion, and team development initiatives including recruiting, hiring, and inclusion training. Optimize daily business processes by restocking product, executing shipment and fulfillment workflows, and collaborating with department leadership to maintain visual standards and drive sales objectives. This part-time role requires evening and weekend hours, including at least two Saturdays and Sundays per month, with on-call availability for special events and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 to 3 years of retail store experience
- Experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of cash control and security regarding sales
- Store opening and closing procedures
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Ability to push or pull more than 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for 3+ hours at a time
- Ability to bend, sit, reach, and walk
- Ability to open multiple doors while pushing loaded carts
- Ability to reach merchandise on 6' high shelves
- Ability to read computer screens and price tickets
- Ability to package and ship bulky merchandise
- Availability for evening and weekend hours
- Availability for at least two Saturdays and Sundays a month
- Availability for special events or in the absence of a manager
- Successful completion of a confidentiality agreement
- Background check
- Proper identification verifying eligibility to work in the United States
