Job Summary
The Retail Supervisor supports store operations and motivates the team to achieve customer satisfaction and production standards. Responsibilities include planning and managing work, solving problems with guidance, and applying customer service fundamentals. The role involves community engagement, maximizing donation values, coordinating merchandise flow, training employees, assisting in hiring, maintaining a safe work environment, and conducting apprehensions. The position requires effective communication, adaptability to change, focus on results, accountability for performance, and the ability to work varied schedules, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to complete and retain forklift certification
- Work varied schedule and flexible hours; a minimum of two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled
- Must have working phone that allows for communication accessibility
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in a retail environment
- Forklift certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move weight ranging from 10 to 50 pounds
