Job Summary
Retail Supervisor to lead store operations and drive sales performance at a Puma store in Tannersville. Responsibilities include achieving/exceeding sales KPIs and profitability through planning, expense control, and servicing customers; assisting Store Manager/Assistant Manager with recruitment, training, and employee development; payroll control and scheduling; communicating merchandise opportunities to store leadership; achieving inventory and shrink goals; handling merchandise flow; enforcing Store Policies & Procedures and maintaining a safe, compliant environment. Requires 1–2 years in retail (preferably apparel/footwear), ability to exceed sales goals, strong communication and teamwork, computer skills, and availability to work non-traditional hours (weekends, evenings, holidays). Pay range $21.00–$24.00 hourly plus bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear)
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Demonstrated ability to reason through complex issues
- Ability to present information to large groups
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Computer skills, basic MS Office and retail software knowledge
- Physical ability to constantly walk and move about; ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours: weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required
