Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned retail department by directing associate-level staff, providing training and coaching, and ensuring adherence to store procedures and quality standards. Manage inventory processes including receiving, handling, and replenishing stock while monitoring profitability. Collaborate with store leadership to maintain policy compliance and resolve operational issues. Maintain a high professional standard by leading by example and fostering a positive team culture. Requires a flexible retail schedule with seasonal adjustments and the ability to work in an active, physical environment involving lifting up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization
- Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place (implied: store environment)
