Job Summary
Lead floor management by assigning shifts, reviewing results, and providing feedback to maintain a five-star customer experience while coaching staff on selling skills and processes. Monitor store payroll to ensure hours stay within budget, analyze inventory and special orders, and communicate daily sales goals to drive Total Monthly Income targets. Observe individual performance, enforce improvement plans through weekly discussions, and build a talent pipeline to fill open positions within 30 days. Act as a mentor and coach for a motivated team to exceed sales plans and foster high performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or degree
- Two-four years prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with a computerized POS system
- Must occasionally lift to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to reach for tools and objects with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk to and hear customers
- Must be able to see up close and at a distance
- Must be able to use peripheral vision and depth perception
- Must be able to look at, read, and use a computer and all other electronic devices for long periods of time
