Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned retail department, providing direction, training, and coaching to associate-level staff to ensure efficient store procedures and a positive customer experience. Manage inventory by receiving, handling, and replenishing stock while monitoring profitability. Collaborate with store leadership to enforce policies, resolve errors, and maintain quality standards. Work in an active environment requiring physical movement and the ability to handle items up to 40 lbs, utilizing POS systems and specialized equipment. Maintain a flexible schedule that adapts to seasonal trends and business forecasts.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization
- Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
