Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations for an assigned department, providing direction, training, and coaching to associate-level staff to ensure efficient store procedures and a positive customer experience. Manage store profitability by overseeing receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing tasks while maintaining company standards and resolving any operational errors. Collaborate with the store leadership team on policies and procedures, displaying a high professional standard of behavior in an active environment that may require physical movement and handling items up to 40 lbs. Work a flexible retail schedule that changes seasonally based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization
- Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place
