Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned retail department, providing direction, training, and coaching to associate-level staff to ensure efficient store procedures and proper customer experiences. Manage inventory by receiving, handling, and replenishing stock while processing transactions through the Point of Sales system to maintain store profitability. Collaborate with store leadership to enforce company policies, resolve operational errors, and uphold quality standards within a physically active environment. Requires availability for a flexible retail schedule that adjusts seasonally based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization
- Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in a place
