Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned retail department, providing direction, training, and coaching to associate-level staff to ensure efficient store procedures and a positive customer experience. Manage store profitability by handling receiving, replenishment, and processing tasks while maintaining company standards and resolving any operational errors or policy deviations. Collaborate with store leadership on policies and procedures, demonstrating a high professional standard and leading by example within a physically active environment. Requires a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization
- Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
