Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day work of assigned associate-level staff by providing direction, training, and coaching to ensure efficient operations and proper store procedures. Supervise the assigned department of responsibility, managing profitability through receiving, handling, and replenishing inventory while maintaining company standards and policies. Collaborate with the store leadership team on policies and standards, resolving problems or errors to support the overall customer experience. Work in an active environment requiring physical movement and the ability to handle items up to 40 lbs, adhering to a flexible retail schedule that changes seasonally.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization
- Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in place
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
