Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations for an assigned department, providing direction, training, and coaching to associate-level staff to ensure efficient store procedures and a positive customer experience. Manage inventory by receiving, handling, and replenishing stock while processing transactions through the Point of Sales system to maintain store profitability. Collaborate with store leadership to enforce policies, resolve operational errors, and uphold company standards in an active, physically demanding environment. Requires a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in position or specialization
- Skill operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
