Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging positively with travelers, operating the point-of-sale system to process payments accurately, and following all cash handling policies. Prepare and serve quality food while ensuring proper food safety procedures, including temperature checks, labeling, and rotating stock. Complete kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, and packaging, alongside cleaning, sanitizing workstations, and stocking shelves. Actively cross-sell products and maintain knowledge of available items. Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds; available for flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time role at Applegreen USA travel plazas offering medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
