Retail Store Manager - Tuscaloosa/Birmingham

Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of established company policies, standards, and initiatives. Partner with Assistant Store Manager and Merchandising to coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing, while reviewing receiving, transfers, and returns-to-vendor paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy. Act as Manager on Duty by modeling Burlington SOPs, managing multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budgets, and handling personnel and associate relations issues. Recruit, screen, and hire associates to meet staffing needs, facilitate onboarding, and provide ongoing coaching and structured learning activities. Manage payroll budget, workforce management, and scheduling while facilitating effective communication with district and regional teams. Requires 5+ years of retail management experience, ability to lift 40 lbs, and flexible scheduling including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
