Job Summary
Own total store performance, including sales targets, KPIs, and profitability. Monitor and analyze business trends, product performance, and customer demand to drive commercial decisions. Execute product launches, merchandising strategies, and marketing initiatives to maximize sell-through. Maintain strong communication with Area Manager and cross-functional partners regarding store performance, risks, and opportunities. Maintain loss prevention standards and implement shrink-reduction strategies. Champion a customer-first culture utilizing Popmart's selling framework to consistently deliver brand appropriate service standards. Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain store presentation standards aligned with POP MART brand storytelling. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and associates to achieve performance goals. Own store talent planning and recruiting efforts, including building candidate pipelines, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding team members. Build a strong talent pipeline through coaching, development planning, and succession planning. Deliver consistent performance feedback and recognition. Ensure completion of onboarding, compliance training, and job-skills training.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of retail leadership experience
- Store Manager or equivalent leadership role
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and implement new operational standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving retail environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift)
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and safely climb ladders or step stools
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging merchandise, and stocking shelves
- Manual dexterity to safely operate stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters)
- Ability to work in stockroom and receiving environments with varying temperatures
- Ability to multitask and move quickly in a fast-paced retail setting
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Up to 10% travel
