Job Summary
Own total store performance, including sales targets, KPIs, and profitability by monitoring business trends and analyzing customer demand to drive commercial decisions. Execute product launches, merchandising strategies, and marketing initiatives to maximize sell-through while maintaining loss prevention standards and implementing shrink-reduction strategies. Champion a customer-first culture by resolving issues timely and ensuring store presentation aligns with brand storytelling. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and associates through talent planning, recruiting, and succession planning to ensure the store is staffed for growth. Deliver consistent performance feedback and recognition while completing onboarding and compliance training. Maintain strong communication with the Area Manager and cross-functional partners regarding store performance, risks, and opportunities. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays with up to 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of retail leadership experience
- Store Manager or equivalent leadership role
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and implement new operational standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving retail environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift)
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and safely climb ladders or step stools
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging merchandise, and stocking shelves
- Manual dexterity to safely operate stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters)
- Ability to work in stockroom and receiving environments with varying temperatures
- Ability to multitask and move quickly in a fast-paced retail setting
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Up to 10% travel
