Job Summary
Lead store operations for PlumpJack Wine & Spirits across two San Francisco locations. Hire, train, schedule, support, review, discipline and terminate employees directly accountable to the role, while maintaining high morale and productivity. Oversee payroll reporting, customer education on wine/spirits/beer, and ensure exemplary service. Perform administrative duties including scheduling, banking, invoicing, website maintenance, and store upkeep. Update Store SOPs, collaborate with Noe Store Manager on goals and initiatives, manage supplies and cleanliness, and foster a fun, competitive, and inviting team environment. Maintain visual standards and stock levels, promote the brand, comply with policies and applicable laws, and participate in mandatory meetings. Requires leadership, reliability, and strong communication skills with a customer-service focus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years retail management experience required.
- Must have a knowledge and passion for wine, spirits, and beer.
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to multi-task.
- Familiar with local Department of Health regulations, California liquor laws and relevant current laws governing handling of hazardous substance.
- Demonstrated ability to train staff.
- Detail oriented, organized, and efficient.
