Job Summary
A Retail Store Manager at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet leads store operations and teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role oversees financial performance including payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other company initiatives; develops and implements merchandising strategies, store standards, seasonal transitions, and inventory processes to meet goals; coaches, trains, evaluates, supervises, and schedules store associates to meet staffing and business needs; and ensures proper security of the store location and company assets. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of retail management experience, with schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus a valid driver’s license. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holiday seasonal on a regular basis
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner
